Alvin, if you’re reading this — I'm going to need Book 2 now!
That cliffhanger made me happy unitl it made me cry‑cry, and now you’re making me wait!
It's like I know the heroes, and you did THAT!
I can't believe of how many times I loved this book.
An intriguing plot with interesting characters, especially the MMC, and I loved how much the city featured as part of the book, almost as one of the characters.
Very well written! Characters are easy to identify with, and I just couldn’t put this book down! Eagerly anticipating the next book!
A friend suggested that I read Alvin Wilkins' book Unmoved: A Lawson from Boston Thrillah'. I had never heard of the author; I didn't know what I was getting into. The plot was both unusual and fascinating. I couldn't put it down. The characters were well drawn and definitely memorable. The next time I run across a street raver I will think twice before ignoring them. I believe this is the author's first Thrillah. This book is incredibly good. I can't wait for the next Thrillah.
Book 1 of Lawson from Boston. And a FANtastic start it is! Look forward to more from this world.
'How far would you go to protect the truth, when it's the only thing standing between you and a villain who's never lost?
UNMOVED is a Boston thrillah' about love, leverage, and what's left standing in the end.'
The characters were very complex and compelling and complicated. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and expertly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly.
Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!.
I especially loved the Boston setting. Alvin captured the city so vividly that I could picture every street and corner as the story unfolded. Boston felt like more than just a backdrop — it became part of the book’s personality.
Lawson really stuck with me. He’s elusive, and I couldn’t help wondering if there’s a bit of Alvin in him. When Lawson finally opens up to Alina in the park, it hit me hard — I actually shed a tear. That moment gave him a vulnerability I truly appreciated.
Overall, I loved this story not only for the mystery and the characters, but because it felt like a small window into Alvin’s imagination — and maybe even a glimpse into Alvin himself. That made Unmoved unexpectedly special to me.
